Two years after his drug overdose scare, former PBA player Mark Cardona landed in hot water once again after reportedly pawning off a carnapped vehicle. His victim, Michelle Flores, asked assistance from Raffy Tulfo to provide a solution to this problem.
Michelle claimed that the former PBA player needed money to pay some debts. He loaned her a Subaru Forester that amounted to PHP 300,000 but the victim already noticed that the car wasn’t registered to his name. Mark assured her that the car had an open deed. Moreover, another friend assured Michelle that she would be the one to shell out money in case Mark failed to do so.
Michelle took the car to get it registered because the former NLEX guard said that she could drive it around. It was there that she found out that the authorities were on the lookout for this vehicle. The real owner filed a case against a man named Mark Macapagal because the latter never paid him for the car despite having the keys and the OR/CR.
We aren’t sure how Mark Cardona came into possession of the carnapped vehicle but after Michelle called him about the situation, the basketball player just cursed her, said “Alam mo na pala” and stopped answering her calls. Now, Raffy Tulfo advised the complainant to surrender the car to the Highway Patrol Group because it would be dangerous if she was ever seen riding it.
The team helped Michelle file a case against the former PBA player and rest assured, the PNP is now currently searching for him. Mark Cardona has yet to release a statement concerning these allegations.
